Having worked many years in electornic engineering, I have been involved in software
and the web for a long time. Over that time I’ve learned to ignore the fluff and gee-whiz
around some software and look for the ones that are effective. I like simplicity in my
programs, small, fast , intuitive and easy to use are what I look for. If I have to keep
looking at the manual after I’ve used it for a while, then it’s probably not going to make it
onto my favorites list.
The same rules apply to Operating systems. The actual performance is often very
different to the way it’s promoted. I like to dig and find the real facts about what works and
what doesn’t. If it falls in the “doesn’t” category, then I want to know what I can do about it.
The section here on Windows 7 is intended to help people who have migrated to
Windows 7 or are considering it.
I’ll give you the straight truth about what works and what doesn’t. If you have something
else you’ld like my opinion on, just drop me an email below. I’d love to hear from you.
I’d like to post some of your emails to the site if they are of general interest. If you’d
prefer not to get your emails posted, just tell me in your email. I will not ever publish your
email address.
I do have Google ads on this site. No pop-ups or pop-anything and
no banners. They are just regular text links that can help by giving
you prices and reviewa on some of the software I talk about. If you
are running Firefox with AdBlock and would like to see these, then
in Firefox click on the ABP stop sign icon to the right of the search
box. Then click on disable for 4myware.com.
I will be posting new Windows 7 info and software opinions here
regularly, so if you don’t see what you need, please send me an
email and check back later.
